The Meridian Women's Chorus is a non-profit group of women singers whose purpose is to develop the choral skills of women, provide opportunity for members to create music with peers and offer quality performances of women's choral music for the community of Northeast Georgia.

All the members of Meridian Women's Chorus are members of the Board, and there is an Executive Board of six people. president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, publicity and director. Our annual business meeting is held in the fall of each year.

The main responsibility of the board members are to fundraise and to publicize our events. We rehearse throughout the year during the middle of the day (hence the name "Meridian"). Our focus is on singing good women's music, both a cappella and accompanied in a variety of venues to bring joy and music to many.
